The Lake Tyers estuary opened to Bass Strait overnight, with water levels reaching 2.27m at 3.50am. The estuary levels are now subsiding, and water quality monitoring will take place today.![]()

We are also planning repairs to infrastructure and replacement of any damaged street furniture. Council has engaged a cleaning contractor and arranged for the Nowa Nowa boat ramp, jetty, playground, boardwalk and picnic area to be assessed. Lake Tyers walking tracks and boat ramp are also being assessed. ![]()
